My paintings of cars explore the visual character of these familiar yet powerful forms through colour, structure and atmosphere. I am drawn to the way the automobile combines solid mass, reflective surfaces and distinctive lines, transforming an everyday object into a strong pictorial presence. Rather than focusing solely on mechanical detail, I simplify and interpret the forms through expressive brushwork, tonal relationships and color, allowing each painting to retain both the identity of the car and the emotional atmosphere surrounding it.
