Magdi B. El-Din’s sculptures explore form, volume and physical presence through an expressive and simplified approach. His sculptural works emphasize mass, proportion, texture and the relationship between solid form and surrounding space. Reflecting his broader expressionist sensibility, these works translate his interest in gesture, character and atmosphere from the painted surface into three-dimensional form.
