I am an Egyptian painter and sculptor whose artistic journey began in 1970. Over more than five decades, I have developed a personal approach to painting with expressive coloring, energetic brushwork, texture, and a balance between observation and abstraction.
I received my B.F.A. from the College of Fine Arts, University of Alexandria, in 1977, followed by an M.A. in Visual and Performing Arts from Charles Sturt University, Australia, in 2010. My artistic career has taken me across Egypt, Germany, Kuwait, Oman, Italy, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates, where I have presented 21 solo exhibitions.
In 1992, I was awarded the Grand Prix of Rome in Painting, a one-year residency in Italy.
Today, I continue to work, exploring color, form, texture, and emotion through a visual language that is both personal and evolving.
For galleries, institutions, and private collectors interested in acquiring one or more of my works, I invite you to contact me through the Contact page.
